From childhood, this author maintained a desire to experience Africa’s amazing wildlife and the unique landscape and eco-system in which they reside. As the years passed, the dream remained unfulfilled until he gave himself permission to go. Throughout this book Doug doesn’t share the story of an explorer, but that of a man who, apart from the chaos of day to day life, chose to fulfill his childhood dream.
